The execution is so slow that it gets borderline frustrating at times when the story just doesn’t move forward. Juhi Chaturvedi’s story is heavily loaded with complex twists, too many sundry characters and half-hearted subplots that make her narrative clunky and laboured. It once again begs the question as to why we do not see them often on the big and small screen anymore? And these roles are portrayed to perfection by some of the most seasoned and underrated actresses. Director Tanuja Chandra and writer Juhi Chaturvedi give us an assortment of spirited women, who are not afraid of showing their vulnerable side. So it’s only a matter of time before her game is up, unleashing a mountain of trouble on everyone connected to her. Each one of them is fighting their own demons but no one’s life is as complex and messed up as Ishi - a powerful PR consultant whose lobbying skills have helped corporates and corrupt politicians amass more wealth.
